If your travel eSIM will not connect, run through these quick fixes to get back online fast.
Most eSIM issues are simple settings problems. Work through this checklist in order.
1. Check the basics
- Is the eSIM plan turned on in your settings?
- Is it set as the default data line?
- Is data roaming enabled for the eSIM profile? (Travel eSIMs need this.)
2. Refresh the connection
Toggle airplane mode on and off, or restart your phone. This forces it to re-register with the local network.
3. Select the network manually
In network settings, switch from automatic to manual and pick a supported carrier from the list.
4. Set APN if needed
Some plans require an APN. Enter the one provided with your plan under cellular/APN settings.
Still stuck? Make sure your plan's start date has begun and you have remaining data.
